Falling in love all over again

With snow-tipped mountains and pine-clad lands

The fiery skies burn with the last light of day

As we say our good-byes to another dream day

The cool, fresh air stings city-clogged lungs

Ghost-white snowflakes land on outstretched tongues

Birds’ calls, the only sounds carried by the breeze

They travel to the horizon, lined with tiny trees

Though my thoughts may often wander, it’s forever to stay

The place where two worlds meet, sun and sea, every day
